I’ve experienced some varied professionalism from recruitment companies over the last few months, but I have to say that both Jordan and Carl have been consistently friendly and professional during all of our dealings. You have communicated as regularly as anyone could and also found a balance where the candidate feels valued as well. So, I wish “1492” the best of luck moving forwards and wanted to thank both of you for the positive experience.

From the initial contact from 1492, I felt I was dealing with true professionals and experts in the engineering and manufacturing sector. As a candidate, I felt truly valued. From the initial meeting with Jordan I recognised he had a thorough understanding of the needs of his client and was able to answer all of my questions with ease. I was guided and supported at each stage of the interview process which led to a successful outcome for both parties. This support has continued as I work my notice period. I would highly recommend 1492, both as a candidate and, in future, as a client. I feel I am at the start of a long-lasting partnership with 1492.

The approach that 1492 takes towards recruitment and candidate selection is a refreshing change and very different from the majority of other recruitment companies. Excellent service from all of the 1492 team, a real pleasure to do business with you. I will certainly use you when I am recruiting for my business.

A big thank you to Carl and the team from 1492 Ltd for all their hard work and keeping in contact with me throughout my recruitment process. Carl has really gone the extra mile to make sure I was kept in the loop and updated with any progress. I would happily recommend 1492 Ltd to anyone looking for work.

From day one, you & the rest of the team have been excellent & very professional. You have personally restored my faith in the recruitment industry, you kept me informed at every stage of the process, even if it was to advise that there was no news. This kind of service is new to me within the recruitment industry, historically, it has been me doing the chasing. I can honestly say that it was a pleasure to have met you & worked with you on this assignment, many other recruitment companies could do with learning how it should be done from you & the 1492 team.

Within five minutes of attending the first interview I knew the company was a great fit. I dealt with around 10 agencies during my job search but 1492 was by far the most professional and easiest to deal with. I would recommend to anyone looking for a move.

Not only that they were down to earth and very easy to communicate with, not the hard sell approach I had witnessed previously. They have since completed both those hires and have helped recruit other roles too. I must say I have not only been impressed with their knowledge, expertise and overall approach but their customer service and follow up service since placement. I think I’ve found a recruitment team I can trust for the future.

From the first call to discuss the role,  helping me with preparing for the first and second interviews, providing feedback at each stage, right through to being offered the position, the team at 1492 were there providing support and advice.  Excellent service from a dedicated team - great job!

I would highly recommend the team at 1492 recruitment to anyone looking for a new job or looking to change career paths. From the first point of contact the team keep you fully informed and updated at every stage. Supporting and encouraging the candidate through the nervy interview stages. Totally refreshing to realise I wasn't just a number or an email address. Please keep up the great work you do for all your future candidates.

I would definitely recommend signing up with the company if you are looking for work, they have been excellent from start to finish with attention to detail, always keeping me posted on a daily basis with updates and the guys are so friendly on phone. I have been in my job for 10 years and been very nervous in changing my role, they have given me the confidence to help me move on in life and would like to say I would use them again but the position they have found me, I think I will be happy for a very long time. 😊

Nick was absolutely brilliant from start to finish. From the first time we spoke to the day of my interview, plus regular check-up calls after I'd started my new job Nick was very supportive and informative. The interview process was brilliant and at no point did I feel like I was being pushed or over questioned. I highly recommend Nick and 1492 for recruitment and finding jobs.

I would happily recommend 1492 to anyone who is looking for work or a change of career. From the first meeting until my employment, they were in contact with me with any updates and requirements that were needed. Thanks to Jordan and the team but a special shout out to Nick who I felt went above and beyond for me during the process!
